Arkansas loses an impact linebacker/edge rusher to the Transfer Portal: Brad Spence has entered the portal and will have two more seasons of eligibility remaining. The Houston native will have a huge list of teams wanting his services from the portal.

The former three-star is 6'2" and 240 pounds, and he had 55 tackles and five sacks this past season. Spence is a name to watch for any team that needs extra pass-rushing help. He can have an instant impact on any team off the edge.

Florida State loses a former five-star edge rusher to the Transfer Portal: Marvin Jones Jr. has entered the Transfer Portal after just one season with Florida State. Jones Jr. was a former five-star recruit who started his career at Georgia before heading to Tallahassee for this past season.

He has one more year of eligibility and could be an instant impact player wherever he ends up. The Miami native is 6'5" and 255 pounds and has 41 total tackles, 20 being solo tackles, six sacks, and two forced fumbles in his college career. Many teams could use him on the defensive line next year.

Arizona takes another crushing portal blow: The hits just keep coming for Arizona football, as they've lost another marquee player in the portal - with the news that cornerback Tacario Davis will transfer.

The big 6'4 corner was projected by some as a first round pick headed into this season, but struggled as Arizona largely fell apart and disappointed under first year head coach Brent Brennan. He finished with 44 tackles and six PBU's on the season.

He continues a concerning trend of stars leaving Arizona, as he joins fellow defensive starters Jacob Manu (linebacker) and Gunnar Maldanado (safety) in deciding to leave.

Duke gets one of the best quarterbacks in the Transfer Portal: According to Pete Thamel, Darian Mensah has committed to play at Duke out of the Transfer Portal. Many believed Mensah was the best quarterback on the board, and the Blue Devils grabbed him.

The 6'3", 200-pound redshirt freshman threw for 2,723 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions with a 65.9% completion percentage. He had a great year and helped the Green Wave get to 9-4 and finish as a runner-up in the AAC behind Army. He will be an instant difference-maker for Duke this year.

Cal loses their starting quarterback to the Transfer Portal: Fernando Mendoza has entered the Transfer Portal after two seasons with the Golden Bears, according to Chris Hummer. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining and will immediately be one of the biggest players in the portal.

The 6'5" and 225-pound Miami native has 4,712 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, and 16 interceptions on a 66.5% completion percentage. Mendoza might be one of the biggest surprises in the portal up to now. He will have an instant impact under center wherever he ends up.

One of the top offensive tackles is visiting an SEC school: As former Mississippi State starting left tackle Mak Pounders has tweeted that he is on the campus of Texas A&M.

Pounders is an experienced lineman who started six games for the Bulldogs this year, after starting 10 games for Memphis a season ago.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Hurley was a top 100 prospect in the 2023 class, and high-four star recruit. He appeared in nine games this past season, where he recorded one tackle.

Hurley is also expected to visit Michigan State on Friday.

Tuesday, December 10th

UCF loses a high-potential tight end to the Transfer Portal: According to Pete Nakos, Randy Pittman Jr. has entered the Transfer Portal after two seasons with the Golden Knights. He has 631 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 51 receptions in his college career.

At 6'2" and 235 pounds, Pittman Jr. has so much potential at the tight end spot, but because of his size, he has a lot of versatility, too. That versatility will be key, which is why he will have teams lining up for his services outside the portal. He will be an instant contributor wherever he ends up.

Mississippi State loses their starting freshman quarterback to the Transfer Portal: Michael Van Buren has entered the Transfer Portal after just one season with the Bulldogs. Van Buren appeared in nine games after Blake Shapen was injured for the year last year. He had 1,886 passing yards, 11 passing touchdowns, and seven interceptions with a 54.7% completion percentage.

The 6'1", 200-pound freshman from Maryland flashed some potential this past season, and he will have a lot of suitors out of the portal. He has a lot of potential but is still raw, so he could be a useful backup for a program that needs help under center.

Texas A&M lands a massive quarterback out of the Transfer Portal: According to Hayes Fawcett, UAB Transfer quarterback Jacob Zeno has committed to and will transfer to Texas A&M. This will be Zeno's seventh season in college. He has 4,948 passing yards, 32 passing touchdowns, and 18 interceptions with a 69.1% completion percentage in his entire career. The 6'4", 210-pound quarterback has one more season of eligibility in college.

SMU loses a quarterback to the Transfer Portal: Preston Stone has entered the Transfer Portal after Kevin Jennings beat him out for his job with the Mustangs, according to Pete Nakos. Stone had a solid four seasons with the Mustangs. He has 4,030 passing yards, 35 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions, with a 59.3% completion percentage in his college career.

Stone was a four-star recruit out of Dallas, Texas, and is 6-1 and is 214 pounds. He should have a handful of suitors who are in desperate need of a quarterback next year. Stone has a proven career in college, and teams will be lining up for his services.

Another big-time receiver leaves Oklahoma: Just one day after Nic Anderson announced that he was leaving Oklahoma, a second former star at the position has decided to leave as well - Jalil Farooq.

Farooq spent four years in Norman, with monstrous back-to-back seasons in 2022 and 2023 when he caught a combined 82 balls for seven touchdowns. However, like most of the Oklahoma receiving corps he was banged up this year, and limited to just three catches in two games.

Despite the quiet 2024 performance, expect Farooq to be coveted by some of the biggest schools in college football. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining.

Texas A&M appears set to host another elite wide receiver: Just one day after we learned that former Texas Tech five-star signee Micah Hudson will visit Texas A&M, the Aggies appear to be in line to bring another elite pass catcher to campus.

On Tuesday, TexAgs' Ryan Brauninger reported that Oklahoma wide receiver Nic Anderson will visit Aggieland as well.

The big-bodied, 6'4 Anderson was a Freshman All-American in 2023, snagging 38 catches for 798 yards and 10 touchdowns, but unfortunately missed most of the 2024 season with injury.

Regardless, he is one of the elite wide receivers available in the portal.

Auburn is set to host a big-time transfer portal quarterback: As On3's Justin Hokanson is reporting that former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold is expected to visit the Plains.

Arnold is of course one of the most high-profile quarterbacks in the portal. A former five-star, Arnold began the year as Oklahoma's starter, before being benched and winning the job back later in the season.

He finished with 1,421 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, and three interceptions, with a 62.6% completion percentage.

Arnold has also been heavily linked to Mississippi State, where former Oklahoma offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby is now the head coach.

USC loses a former five-star tight end to the Transfer Portal: Duce Robinson has entered the Transfer Portal after two seasons in Los Angeles according to Pete Nakos. He has 39 receptions for 747 yards and seven touchdowns in his time with the Trojans. He will have teams lining up for him due to the potential he offers.

The former five-star recruit from Florida and Arizona is 6'6" and 220 pounds. He was made to catch passes in the Lincoln Riley offense, but he did not see the field much. Expect him to fit right in wherever he goes out of the Portal.

Former Alabama five-star receiver sets up a Colorado visit: Caleb Odom entered the Transfer Portal and is already gaining some big interest. He has a visit lined up with Colorado, according to Hayes Fawcett. It is worth noting that the new Colorado quarterback, Julian Lewis, was a high school teammate of Odom. Odom barely saw the field last year as a freshman. He only had seven receptions for 65 yards this year with the Crimson Tide. At 6'5" and 227 pounds, the freshman out of Georgia is a freak athlete and could be a huge get for Deion Sanders out of the Transfer Portal.

Florida State loses a former five-star quarterback to the Transfer Portal: According to Hayes Fawcett, Luke Kromenhoek has entered the Transfer Portal after just one season in Tallahassee. He was highly touted out of high school in Georgia as the future of the Seminoles, but he saw time this past season and struggled. He had 502 yards, three passing touchdowns, and two interceptions with a 52.4% completion percentage.

The 6'4" and 204-pound quarterback out of Georgia was thrust into the starting spot this past year due to injuries, and he struggled. He will have a handful of teams interested in him out of the Portal due to the potential he presents.

Missouri loses a massive edge-rusher to the Transfer Portal: Williams Nwaneri has entered the Transfer Portal after just one season with Missouri. It was massive for the Tigers to hang onto Nwaneri as he is from Kansas City, but he barely saw the field with the Tigers this past season. In two games, he only had two total tackles and one sack this past year.

Nwaneri has the physical tools at 6'7" and 255 pounds so that alone will have teams lining up for him. The former five-star will have many suitors out of the Portal, and he should be an instant impact wherever he goes.

An elite quarterback has set up up his first visit: An elite quarterback has set up his first visit, as ESPN's Pete Thamel is reporting that Tulane's Darian Mensah will visit Duke on Tuesday.

Some believe Mensah is the best quarterback on the board. The redshirt freshman threw for 2,723 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions with a 65.9% completion percentage. He had a great year and helped the Green Wave get to 9-4 and finish as a runner-up in the AAC behind Army.

This news is especially interesting as it comes one day after Duke starting quarterback Maalik Murphy made the surprising decision to transfer, after a historic 26-touchdown season.

One of the best players in the portal has already cut his list to four: One of the best players in the portal has already cut his list to four, as former Kentucky and North Carolina defensive lineman Keeshawn Silver will be selecting among some of the best schools in America.

On late Monday, On3's Pete Nakos announced that Silver had already cut his list down to Florida, Miami, Michigan and USC.

Put simply, Silver is one of the most coveted players in the portal, as a monstrous 6'4 defensive tackle. A former five-star recruit he began his career at North Carolina before moving to Kentucky where he had 14 solo tackles, one TFL and one sack last season.

Monday, December 9th

Nevada loses its starting quarterback to the Transfer Portal. On3's Pete Nakos has reported that Brendon Lewis entered the Transfer Portal after a fantastic season in Reno this past year. He had 2,290 passing yards, 16 passing touchdowns, and seven interceptions with a 67.6% completion percentage. Then, on the ground, he had 775 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 157 carries.

The 6'2", 207-pound Texas native burst onto the scene this past season for a surprising Nevada Wolfpack team. He will have plenty of suitors out of the Transfer Portal. He will have one more year of eligibility left at the college level, wherever he ends up.

A Former star receiver from Georgia Tech is lining up some huge visits: Eric Singleton Jr. entered the Transfer Portal out of Georgia Tech and has been lining up huge visits thanks to many services, like On3, ranking him as the top overall player in the portal. He has visits lined up with Ole Miss, Georgia, and Auburn.

Singleton has two more seasons of eligibility, and the 5'11" 190-pound wide receiver was a huge key for the Yellow Jackets this past year. He had 754 yards and three touchdowns on 56 receptions. Wherever Singleton ends up, he will have his pick and get a huge bag of cash with the teams vying for his services.

Former Texas and Duke quarterback Maalik Murphy has entered the Transfer Portal. ESPN's Pete Thamel first reported that the quarterback is looking for a third team. Murphy started his career with Texas before moving on to play with Duke. He spent his first two seasons in college with two different teams and now it will be a third.

His physical tools are unbelievable at 6'5" and 230 pounds at the quarterback position. This past season at Duke, Murphy had a great year after barely seeing time at Texas. He had 2,933 passing yards, 26 passing touchdowns, and 12 interceptions with a 60.3% completion percentage. Murphy is still a little raw with his development, but his physical tools are enough for any team to take a look at him out of the portal.

Colorado will have one of the best players in the portal on campus this week: As ESPN's Pete Thamel is reporting that the Buffaloes will host former Alabama defensive lineman Jehiem Oatis.

Oatis is a former high four-star recruit in the class of 2022, who started 10 games for Alabama during his freshman year in 2022 and earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors after posting 29 tackles and a sack. He was limited by injuries in 2023 and decided to take a redshirt and transfer after just a couple games in 2024, leaving Tuscaloosa.

Despite a few years of up-and-down production he is deemed to be one of the best players in the portal, as he's ranked No. 3 in all available transfers according to ESPN.

Texas A&M takes a big loss in the portal: It's been a busy day at Texas A&M where a number of players have entered the portal, but a little after 5pm ET, we got our first truly shocking decision as offensive lineman TJ Shanahan announced he will leave.

The news was first reported by On3's Hayes Fawcett.

Shanahan appeared in nine games this season including five starts along the offensive line, and this decision is crushing for an offensive line that was a strength of the team for most of the season. He was a four-star member of Texas A&M's 2023 recruiting class, and will have two seasons of eligibility left.

Former 5-star wide receiver Micah Hudson has set up his first visit: Micah Hudson is one of the most coveted wide receivers in the transfer portal, and he appears to be in the midst of his first visit.

According to TexAgs' Ryan Brauninger, Hudson is currently visiting Texas A&M, and will be on campus both today (Monday) and Tuesday as well.

Hudson is a former five-star wide receiver in the class of 2024, and was one of the highest rated recruits to ever commit to Texas Tech. Despite an underwhelming first year where he caught just eight passes for 123 yards he is expected to be one of the most coveted receivers available in the portal.

He'll have three years of eligibility remaining.

Wisconsin loses their starting quarterback to the Transfer Portal: Tyler Van Dyke has re-entered the Transfer Portal after starting his career at Miami, then transferred to Wisconsin this past year. However, he suffered a leg injury earlier this season and had to undergo season-ending surgery.

Van Dyke has shown some promise in his college career and has 7,900 passing yards, 55 passing touchdowns, and 23 interceptions with a 63.7% completion percentage. The 6'4" and 225-pound senior from Connecticut has one year of eligibility remaining. He should have a line of teams waiting for him in the portal, even with the injury cutting his season short this past year.

Texas State loses star running back to the portal: Ismail Mahdi has entered the Transfer Portal after just one season with the Texas State Bobcats. He is an all-purpose weapon and led the entire country in all-purpose yards at 2,169 in 2023. He then had a solid year this year but took a dip with 991 yards and four touchdowns on 183 carries.

The 5'9" and 180-pound athlete has one year of eligibility remaining. He can run the ball, catch the ball, and return punts/kickoffs. Mahdi will be a massive pickup for whatever team can utilize him correctly.

Houston loses a high-profile receiver to the Transfer Portal: Joseph Manjack IV has entered the Transfer Portal for the second time. He started his career at USC and then transferred to Houston for three seasons before returning to the portal. He has one more year of eligibility remaining.

In his career, the 6'3" Texas product has 1,153 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 90 receptions. Due to his size, Manjack has the ability to play on the inside and outside. His versatility is a key difference-maker, and that is why he should have teams lining up to grab him out of the portal.

North Texas loses their quarterback to the Transfer Portal: Chandler Morris has entered the Transfer Portal after a great season with North Texas. He had 3,774 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns, 12 interceptions, and a 63.1% completion percentage. He will have one more year of eligibility.

Morris started his career at Oklahoma before moving to TCU for three seasons and then North Texas this past season. This will be his fourth school in six years. Morris has shown that he is a solid quarterback at the college level. He is 6'0" and 191 pounds, which is a decent size. He should have some suitors at the power level who need a quarterback.

Bear Alexander is lining up big visits out of the portal: The junior lineman from Texas entered the Transfer Portal again after starting his career at Georgia before playing at USC these last two years. He has 61 total tackles, 36 solo tackles, and 3.5 sacks in his career.

According to 247Sports, he already has visits lined up with Oregon, Penn State, SMU, Texas, and Colorado, with an outside chance of a return to Georgia. At 6'3 "and 315 pounds, Alexander has so much potential, but he has not been able to put it all together just yet in college.

Former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold gets a big prediction in the portal: Jackson Arnold entered the transfer portal after a bumpy ride this past season in Oklahoma. The former five-star freshman out of Texas had the keys handed to him this past year, and things did not work from the start. He finished with 1,421 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, and three interceptions, with a 62.6% completion percentage.

He locked in a prediction from On3's Pete Nakos that Arnold will follow Jeff Lebby, the offensive coordinator who initially helped recruit him, to Mississippi State. It would be a great pickup for Lebby in rebuilding the Bulldogs on offense.

An elite SEC defensive back is now in the portal: As Arkansas' TJ Metcalf announced that he would be leaving the school.

The sophomore safety was a load for the Razorbacks' defense this year, finishing with 57 tackles, three interceptions and seven PBU's.

He is the cousin of NFL superstar DK Metcalf.

One of the stars of UNC's defense has decided to hit the portal: Just days after the firing of Mack Brown, one of the stars of their defense has announced he'll transfer - as starting linebacker Amare Campbell announced he'll attend another school.

Campbell was one of the few bright spots for the Tar Heels defense this year, finishing with 72 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 11 TFLs, and one forced fumble. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.

A star portal QB is trending towards an SEC school: It appears as though an SEC school could be on the verge of picking up a major commit, as On3's Steve Wiltfong has entered a crystal ball for former UAB QB Jacob Zeno to commit to Texas A&M.

Zeno spent his first three years in college football at Baylor before transferring to UAB, where he threw for over 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns last season.

However injuries slowed limited him in 2024, allowing him one final season of eligibility. It appears as though it will end in Aggieland.

A former five-star QB is now in the transfer portal: As Ole Miss' Walker Howard announced on Sunday he'll transfer.

It's been a weird road for Howard in his three years in college football. He's the player who famously danced with Brian Kelly after Kelly got the LSU job, and he ended up playing one season with the Tigers. However, with Jayden Daniels returning last year, Howard decided to transfer and spent the last two seasons with Ole Miss.

However, Howard threw just six total passes while with the Rebels and fell behind Austin Simmons this year on the team's depth chart. He will now leave and have two years of eligibility remaining.

Ohio State back-up quarterback is now in the portal: With five scholarship quarterbacks and another coming in, you knew there'd be attrition in the Ohio State quarterback room - and that became official late Sunday, as back-up Devin Brown announced he'd be transferring.

Brown spent the last three years at Ohio State, and for a brief time was believed to be the leader to win the job heading into the 2023 season. However, injuries slowed him down and the Buckeyes went with Kyle McCord. Brown did get a chance to start the Cotton Bowl, before an injury sent him to the sidelines early in that game as well.

In three years at Ohio State, Brown threw three touchdowns and for a little over 300 yards.

Star portal quarterback is already lining up visits: Former Liberty QB Kaidon Salter is one of the most coveted signal-callers in all of college football, and according to one report he's already lining up visits.

Per Chris Hummer of 247 Sports, Salter will visit on Syracuse this weekend, and is also expected to visit Florida State and Colorado as well.

Put simply, Salter was a Group of 5 star two years ago, leading Liberty to a 13-1 record while throwing for 32 touchdowns and rushing for 12 more. Injuries led to a dip in his production this year, although he still managed to pass for 1,800 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Star defensive player is down to three schools: One of the best defensive players in the portal is already down to three schools - as former Nebraska edge rusher announced he will choose between Florida State, LSU and Texas A&M on Sunday.

The 6'5 edge rusher originally from Mobile, Alabama was one of the stalwarts of the Cornhuskers' Top 25 defense this year, finishing with 7 TFL's and 2.5 sacks on the season.

It's worth noting that Nebraska's defensive coordinator Tony White took the same job at Florida State this off-season, making the Seminoles an obvious landing spot if Butler chooses to follow.

Sunday, December 8th

Arizona loses a high-profile linebacker to the Transfer Portal: After three seasons with the Wildcats, Arizona linebacker Jacob Manu has decided to enter the Transfer Portal. Manu was a three-star recruit out of California, undersized at 5'11" and 228 pounds. Still, what Manu lacks in size, he makes up for in effort and is one of the smartest defensive players in the country.

There is a real chance that Manu is testing the market but eventually returns to Arizona, especially since he tore his ACL against Colorado in mid-October. With one year of eligibility left, this feels like a big risk for him to take. Still, Manu might be worth the risk, with 206 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and one interception in his career. It will be interesting to see what happens in the portal for him.

A huge offensive lineman has entered the Transfer Portal out of Kansas State: Carver Willis has entered the Transfer Portal. He has been with Kansas State since 2020. The senior started 10 games for the Wildcats at right tackle this season. He also played in all 13 games for K-State last year, making seven starts. At 6'5" and 291 pounds, the senior could be a massive one-year rental for any team that needs help in the trenches.

Two former four-star Alabama receivers have entered the Transfer Portal: Kendrick Law and Caleb Odom. Law is a former four-star recruit out of Louisiana. He has played at Alabama since 2022 and has 33 catches for 343 yards and one touchdown for his career. At 5'11 "and 209 pounds, Law presents a lot of versatility for any team that needs a receiver out of the portal.

Caleb Odom also entered the Transfer Portal. He was a freshman this past season and barely saw the field. He only had seven receptions for 65 yards this year. At 6'5" and 227 pounds, the freshman out of Georgia is a freak athlete and should have no shortage of suitors from the Transfer Portal.

One of the best Group of Five quarterbacks has entered the portal: Darian Mensah has entered the transfer portal out of Tulane. He was a redshirt freshman this past season and had 2,723 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions with a 65.9% completion percentage. He had a great year and helped the Green Wave get to 9-4 and finish as a runner-up in the AAC behind Army.

The 6'3" redshirt freshman could be a great pickup for anyone out of the transfer portal. He has a lot of potential and has a lot of upside for the rest of his career. He will be a huge pickup for anyone that needs a quarterback.

Friday, December 6th

One of the top tight ends in college football has hit the transfer portal: As Ball State's Tanner Koziol has announced he'll be leaving the MAC school.

A monstrous 6'7 junior, Koziol finished this past season with 94 catches and eight touchdowns, with his catch tally second nationally among tight ends.

Expect a long list of suitors for this Group of 5 star.

Thursday, December 5th

Another star receiver from Kentucky is now in the portal: As junior Barion Brown has announced his transfer.

Brown is one of the top-rated players to ever commit to Kentucky, as a high four-star player, ranked in the Top 75 players in the class of 2022. He had a productive freshman year grabbing 50 balls that season, and followed it up with a 43 catch campaign in 2023. However, as Kentucky's offense sputtered this season, so did Brown's numbers, as he finished with just 23 catches overall.

Despite the disappointing season, Brown will still be one of the most coveted receivers in the portal, with early reports linking him to schools like Florida State, Texas A&M, LSU and Ole Miss.

He'll have one season of eligibility left.

Wednesday, December 4th

An elite o-line prospect will transfer: An elite o-line prospect will transfer, as Oregon's JacQuan McCroy will leave Eugene after just one year.

The news was first reported by On3's Hayes Fawcett.

McCroy was one of the top offensive tackles in the class of 2024, as a Top 100 prospect and the No. 9 offensive tackle in the class according to 247 Sports.

Originally from Alabama, McCroy could be looking to get closer to home.

Another elite SEC receiver is now in the portal: As Arkansas star Isaiah Sategna has announced that he'll transfer.

Sategna was the Hogs highest rated recruit in the class of 2022, and lived up to the billing, finishing this season as the team's second leading receiver. He had 37 catches and one touchdown in 2024, after grabbing 15 balls and scoring two touchdowns this year.

He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.

A highly-coveted offensive tackle is now available: As just moments ago, Mississippi State offensive tackle Makylan Pounders entered the portal.

Pounders is an experienced lineman who started six games for the Bulldogs this year, after starting 10 games for Memphis a season ago.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Kentucky star receiver Dane Key will transfer: It was a disappointing season at Kentucky and this off-season's first big domino just fell, as star wide receiver Dane Key has announced he'll transfer.

A former four-star receiver out of state power Lexington Catholic, Key had a productive three seasons with his home-state Wildcats. This season he led the team with 47 receptions to go along with two touchdown receptions.

However, the Wildcats as a team struggled to pass the ball, finishing 110th nationally and 14th out of 16 SEC teams.

Key will now look for a fresh start, and has one year of eligibility remaining.

Jackson Arnold officially enters the portal: In news that is not shocking at all, Jackson Arnold, the former five-star quarterback who started the year at Oklahoma, got benched, and returned as the starter will transfer from Norman.

Arnold threw for 1,421 yards on 63 percent passing with 12 touchdowns and three interceptions in his first season as Oklahoma's starter and also rushed for 444 yards and three more scores. He was benched during a late September game against Tennessee, only to regain the job and close out the year.

A former five-star and one of the top quarterbacks in the class of 2023, Arnold will have two years of eligibility remaining.
